On the ascent, but also on the descent, the calf muscles have to absorb numerous impacts and vibrations. The muscles are under constant strain and can tire quickly. By distributing pressure around the ankles and calves, the gentle compression system effectively prevents premature muscle fatigue.
Optimum shock absorption comes from the reinforced heel and toe area, which also protects against abrasion and makes these long socks durable. The ergonomic left/right foot design and wide comfort cuff guarantee a perfect fit. Flat toe seams prevent blisters.
