Beast – Ortovox Avalanche Shovel

Powerful shovel with a hybrid grip and optimal power transfer, sized to fit easily in a backpack. The blade, designed for easy storage in a backpack, has high side walls and a sturdy central rib that give it excellent stiffness. Its cutting edge is sharpened and the top edge has anti-slip ridges. The grip allows a wide variety of hand positions, for right- and left-handers. The telescopic, rigid oval shaft offers excellent ergonomics. The rubber coating on the lower section maximises power transfer. The quick-lock system makes it easy to assemble the shaft and blade.
