The particularly fine 21.5 micron merino wool is pleasant on the skin and makes these long ski touring socks elastic and stable. The natural properties of merino wool really come into their own in socks, as it naturally regulates temperature and moisture while also neutralising unpleasant odours.
The men's circular-knit All Mountain Long Socks Warm are designed to fit perfectly, with no annoying seams, reducing rubbing and pressure points. Made for extremely cold days, the warm version of the All Mountain Socks is fully lined with Sculptured Terry-Lining, a special knitted construction that optimally traps heat and creates the ideal climate thanks to its air pockets.
Ankle and arch support ensures a good fit and stops the socks slipping or bunching. What's more, thanks to the flat toe seam, you can forget about blisters around your toes.

Material

Tasmanian merino wool
Merino wool has been an integral part of ORTOVOX mountain clothing since 1995. It comes from selected farms that comply with our own wool standard, the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP), i.e. from certified, ethical sheep farms that are inspected regularly. Wool is by nature 100% ecological and therefore extremely sustainable. Thanks to the small-diameter fibres of its fine woollen yarns, merino wool is extremely soft and comfortable on the skin.
